3+ years project management experience

Proven experience (minimum 8-10 years) in technology project management, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.

Develop and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders including business partners, the Project Management Office (PMO), and the IT department.

Ensure that initiatives and projects adhere to their agreed scope and timelines, and initiate project change management processes when necessary.

Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as collaboration platforms.

Manage the intake of business requests for enhancements and features, ensuring alignment with the roadmap and overall business strategy.

Must have a Project Management or IT certification (e.g., TOGAF, CCNA, MCSE, CISSP, CISA, ITIL or PMP) or approved equivalent.

Manages coordination of user requirements, system design, prototypes and documentation and the modification and implementation of systems

Successful completion of a University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.

Coordinates implementation of programs and consultant activities necessary to achieve the requirements of the Department or projects.

Maintains the collection and maintenance of Department wide hardware/software technology inventories, including technology security access levels and application licensing.

Three (3+) or more years' experience utilizing a structured project management methodology and formal tools/approaches.

Sound knowledge of Project Management methodologies.

Influence and execute project/program management methodologies and standards.

Proven expertise in project estimation, planning, tracking, scope control, risk and issues management as well as status reporting.

Develop and demonstrate strong business knowledge of the assigned business units/portfolios/products.

Identify all program/project stakeholders and defines/clarifies roles and responsibilities.

Strong project management skills including an understanding of project management methods and techniques (PMBOK best practices)

Excellent negotiation, problem solving, as well as conflict management and resolution skills

Excellent people leadership skills including performance development and management, team building, and succession planning

Contribute to the design, implementation and continuous improvement of project management processes and practices

Manage multiple high budget and highly complex projects using project management systems and best practices

One of the following combinations of education and experience:

Excellent people management skills and experience working with and managing technical project teams in application development and implementation of infrastructure solutions.

5+ years’ experience in project management, preferably in the IT industry.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Considerable experience with contract negotiations, procurement procedures and Vendor and Contract Management.

Demonstrated knowledge of project management tools for planning and implementing complex projects and packages.

Educate and coach teams on established standardized Project Management methodologies and processes to provide direction for assigned projects.

Define and manage project plan for parking technology mobile solution

8+ years experience managing complex business and IT projects

Experience with parking technology solutions

Experience working with municipalities for technology implementations.

Work with stakeholders to coordinate tasks and execution

Provide project reporting for steering committees, including status, budget and risks
