Central Reservations Agent Jobs

Opera Property Manager System (PMS) and Central Reservations System (CRS) experience an asset.

Coordinates and tracks completion of Violence Risk Assessments and Safe Patient Handling annual reviews. Monitors related metrics.

Coordinates and standardizes the implementation and maintenance of technology and administrative support systems (new and old) within the programs.

Represents Clinical Operations at the service area and IH level by participating in committees/teams as required.

Manage incoming calls to the Front Office, both internal and external.

Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Accurately quote and input reservations via multiple channels such as phone, email, fax, and online platforms.

Review transient reservations for accuracy in rate codes, billing, deposits, and other relevant details.

Respond promptly to guests' inquiries through the general mailbox, maintaining proper documentation.

Process deposits, cancellations, and no-show reservations.

Oversees volunteer services at PRH, including supervision of the Volunteer Coordinator. Responsible for recruitment, orientation, and communication with volunteers.

Coordinates site-wide health and safety initiatives. Participates in the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee as an Employer representative or co-chair.

Supports operations leaders with staffing tasks, such as schedule builds leave authorization, and hiring processes as required.

Oversees Central Equipment Hub at PRH, including procurement of equipment, hiring and supervision of hub staff.

Minimum 2 years of airline sales experience

Issue Tickets and collect deposits or payments by credit card charge, check or cash.

Issue & collect excess baggage charges

Project Management experience a huge asset

Experienced in writing FRD, BRD and other requirement documents for clients as per the project or statement of work

Proactive, self-motivated and strong in time management

Excellent skills at Testing, Documenting Test cases a MUST

Previous Reservations experience is an asset but is not required

Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred

Strong knowledge of current contact centre operations, customer service principles as well as communications principles, methods and practices.

Skilled in interpersonal relations, especially during high demand and stressful periods.

Have or acquire a thorough knowledge of the TTC’s policies, practices, programs and procedures applicable to the Customer Services function.

Have or acquire a strong working knowledge of the operation and/or use of systems and equipment for the section.

Responsible for supervising the daily operations of Wheel-Trans Reservations Contact Centre and assisting with Wheel-Trans Customer Service operations as required.

Monitoring day-to-day service performance to ensure targets are met with respect to (call handle time, call abandonment levels, staffing hours, etc.)

You can communicate both in French and English (spoken-written); Knowledge of the Cree language and culture are an asset.

Manage the daily activities of the reservations staff. Schedule and assign work.

May serve as “manager on duty” as required.

Assist in managing hotel revenue generation and maximization through full utilization of company systems, business processes and specifications.

Complete records and reports in regard to room availability and guest room commitments; forecast weekly occupancy and rate.

Maintain historical records of reservations arrivals, cancellations and denials to assist in formulating future reservations estimates.

Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Make appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.
