What will you be doing?
The workplace technology architect will report to the manager of Workplace technology. Acting as a technical leader in the workplace technology team his responsibilities will be to design, develop and operate the Workplace Technology products, endpoints, services and platforms that allow the business to leverage the secure infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Citrix or other VDI solutions
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in workplace technology, cybersecurity, and related areas, and make recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define system specifications, and create detailed technical designs.
- Active directory as a configuration engineer (GPO, replication, DFS, Security, Audit)
- Conduct periodic system audits and assessments to identify areas for optimization, performance improvement, and risk mitigation.
- Endpoint security solutions
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to the Level 1 and 2 endpoint support technicians.
- Identity solutions
- Edge network
- Endpoint management solutions
- End user support tools (e.g. Zendesk, TeamViewer)
- Architect, deploy and act as level 3 support on multiple technologies areas
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to workplace technology systems.
- Evaluating partners, software and hardware and finding the right mix to deliver the strategy.
- Voice endpoint configuration
What skills, experience and education are we looking for?
- 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of
- Skills:
- Network understanding
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar, are a plus.
- Active directory
- Complex problem solving
- Azure AD (Intune and autopilot)
- Windows technologies
- College degree in computer science
- Endpoint management systems
- Software deployment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical leadership and support.
