What We’re Looking For:
As the Wholesale Sales Manager for our Eastern Canadian Market, you’ll play a key role in expanding the presence of Sugarfina through our luxury Canadian wholesale partners.Being a team player, you’ll partner with our sales team to grow our relationships with current accounts, identify and pursue new sales leads, and support the company with ongoing account maintenance to ensure operations and all aspects of the business are running smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Become a candy connoisseur and Sugarfina brand ambassador. Our customers will look to you as a representation of the brand and the Sugarfina expert.You’ll develop strong knowledge of our product line so that you can provide expert recommendations.
- Respond to incoming sales requests. We have exciting opportunities coming in from all over Canada and you’ll be the first point of contact with these new customers. You’ll introduce them to the Sugarfina brand, provide product recommendations and support, facilitate all necessary account and item set up while coordinating with the appropriate departments within the company: Quality Assurance, Logistics, Planning, etc, follow up on and enter orders, provide order status and tracking, and manage the day in and day out needs of our accounts.
- Maintain your account’s core assortment, stay on top of replenishment orders, and plan out their innovative and seasonal roadmap throughout the year.
- Be an entrepreneur.Based on your understanding of our current customer base you will think strategically and identify new opportunities to go after new clients that can be exciting new wholesale revenue streams.
- Understand and analyze our clients’ business data and order history to best implement strategies to increase sales.
- Be a problem solver and anticipate client needs and overcome obstacles. We are looking for someone who can think on their toes to investigate problems and come up with time-sensitive solutions.
- Create and Develop meaningful, lasting relationships with our accounts by providing amazing service, anticipating their needs, and surprising them with fun little treats when they least expect it.
- Monitor the landscape for new wholesale and corporate opportunities as well as think outside the box on how we can expand our relationships with existing clients.
Education & Skills:
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) and other relevant hardware and software technologies.
- College degree preferred
- Proficient in Data Entry, Retrieval and Analysis.
- Prior experience with Net Suite is a plus.
- Exceptional Customer Service, Writing, and Time Management Skills
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task are a must.
- 5+ years of account management or sales experience, preferably with a food/beverage, fashion or luxury brand
