Location: We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Facility Manager for our Banff Sunshine Village operation in Banff, Alberta.

Salary: $80,000 CAD

Banff Sunshine Village's unique location will make you feel miles away from civilization, even though you're only a 15-minute drive from the town of Banff. We are located 7,200 feet high on the Continental Divide, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Our three mountains offer vast terrain, and will wow you with 360 degrees of uninterrupted mountain views. Banff Sunshine provides terrain suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels. You can even ski two provinces (Alberta and British Columbia) in one run! Skiers and snowboarders love Sunshine for our snow and our extra long winter. Our seven month ski season stretches from early November until late May, making us the longest non-glacial ski season in Canada.

Principal Function

The Warehouse Facility Manager will be over all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory management, distribution and snow removal. They will support Sodexo Live!'s goal to be #1 in Event Hospitality through the performance of a variety of activities geared toward ensuring smooth and efficient procurement, storage and delivery of supplies and equipment. They will work closely with other department heads to plan and prepare in advance of games or events to ensure supply needs are met, and will assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to warehouse staff. A top priority will be to ensure that the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained. General cleaning and sanitation of all washrooms and Food & Beverage areas. Additionally, they will execute daily snow removal surrounding all Food & Beverage outlets.

Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure that all standards for safety and sanitation are maintained.
• Provide leadership to warehouse staff.
• Implement cost and inventory controls and direct day to day warehouse operations activities to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Maintaining the snow removal on all sidewalks, entrances, exits and areas surrounding Food & Beverage outlets to create a safe environment for guests.

Qualifications/Skills

• Self-starter who can work independently and on several tasks/projects simultaneously, and who can contribute to functional areas of the business outside of retail operations.
• Technologically savvy, with high proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated financial acumen; P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in interfacing with a variety of organizational functions and divisions to accomplish tasks.
• Strong working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and general workplace safety standards with knowledge of Health Department requirements.
• Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management; Ability to promote and participate in team environment concepts.
• Bachelor's degree and/or appropriate combination of education and experience to support on-the-job effectiveness.
• Initiative in identifying and resolving problems timely and effectively.
• A minimum of 3 years of previous warehouse management experience within a food and beverage operations environment, to include management of a staff and focus on exceptional client and customer service.

Other Requirements

• Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.

Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
