Virtual Assistant (VA) Support Developer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing new solutions.
• Design and recommend solutions to challenging problems
• Create responsive web applications using Angular 10+
• Collaborate with other developers on your team, as well as the product, engineering, UX, business partners and other teams across the organization to help develop the front end application solutions
• Supports stability through incident management processes including reviewing design seeking potential source/cause of issues and implementing solution changes.
• Writes new systems of varying complexity, working with application designs and specifications, utilizing standard procedures and techniques
• Uses development frameworks and third-party libraries.
• Contributes to the technical design, development and implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems
• Write high quality code with proper logging and monitoring
• Prepare documentation as needed
• Conducts code reviews, mentors and coaches the larger team, provides objective feedback to consultants and development partners to ensure proper execution of projects.
• Creates, tests, and implements software programs utilizing programming languages.
• Perform peer reviews and refactor regularly
• Structures, designs, implements, and tests the project based on one language or more languages.
• Create and review code design and architecture to ensure it can meet our requirements
• Ensure high code quality through automated unit and functional testing
• Understands the collection of a series of technologies needed to complete a project.
• Supports stability through incident management processes including reviewing design seeking potential source/cause of issues and implementing solution changes.
• Collaborate with multiple teams (product and tech) across the organization
• Creates a prototype design for a product very rapidly with a wide range of techniques.
• Work with a team that practices agile product and software development

SKILLS:

• Flexible and adaptive, team player
• Experience with Agile tools and Methodologies (e,g - Atlassian suite)
• 2+ years of experience with Databases for both relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB).Bonus points for experience with Graph databases
• Functional knowledge of multiple applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of Docker, Play/Akka, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Azure, Jenkins, Nginx, and Unix preferred
• Experience in creating prototype designs for a product very rapidly with a wide range of techniques.
• Incorporates risk planning and mitigation into work efforts.
• Proven experience facilitating collaborative processes
• Strong working knowledge of Angular & Design Systems across Web & Mobile Hybrid technology
• Ability to take ownership on the deliverables
• Excellent Team Player and acts as mentor in own area.
• Experience working with bot platfoms such as MS Bot Framework, Dialogue Flow, Rasa or equivalent to create chat, messaging and voice bot experiences
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize work and well organized
• Experience in working with distributed teams situated globally in different geographies
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• 2+ years of experience using Java/J2EE, JSP, Rest/Soap Web services, SpringBoot, Git, Maven, Nexus, Bitbucket, Artifactory
• Strong organizational and estimation skills
• Strong working knowledge of DevOps practices, Agile Tools and Methodologies
• Understanding and knowledge with utilizing/implementing operational tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, PagerDuty, etc.
