Utility Locator / Damage Prevention Technician Ontario

JOIN OUR TEAM! We are hiring Utility Locate/Damage Prevention Technicians in the Central, Eastern and Western areas of Ontario for Premier Locates! If you enjoy working outdoors, driving, meeting new people and working a 40-hour +, 4-DAY work week, being a Locate Technician at Premier Locates is for you.

At this time we are hiring Damage Prevention Technicians with public and private locate experience. We provide a competitive wage, a vehicle, and benefits. Candidates with their DPT Certification or ORCGA DPT training are preferred. Utility locate skills are not the only criteria that we are looking for. We are looking for individuals that have strong verbal and written communication skills, enjoy driving, travel, and meeting new people. The successful candidate must be safety focused in all that they do and be willing to work with a team or individually. First and foremost, we find buried facilities, however, we help educate our clients to ensure that they know exactly what we do, as well as helping them understand their obligations and responsibilities when breaking ground.

Our expertly trained Damage Prevention Technicians (DPTs) use state of the art ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic locate equipment along with our locate management software to provide our clients with professional timely and accurate locates.
