Cfaa Technician Jobs

Responsibilities

• Maintain the business integrity of the company to meet the client expectations
• Provide specific solutions and recommendations to customers on the most efficient and cost-effective methods to return equipment to working order.
• Perform upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to systems following inspection.
• Occasional On-call after hours rotation.
• Respond to service calls from customers.
• Assist with other duties as necessary
• Preparation of inspection, verification and deficiencies reports in a timely manner.
• Evaluate and diagnose equipment that requires servicing as well as troubleshoot problems.
• Ensure that the highest standard of system reliability and customer satisfaction are met.
• Perform inspection, verification, troubleshooting, modification and service and of existing fire alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Electrical codes and standards which apply to their area
• Troubleshooting and service experience an asset
• Understand and practice applicable ULC, CSA and Canadian
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Exceptional customer service skills and organizational skills
• Proficient in the use of computers
• Experience/knowledgeable in performing fire alarm, extinguisher, and emergency lighting inspections.
• CFAA Registration is an asset
• Two years of community college in electronics is desired, or equivalent training or work experience will be an asset
