Treasury Analyst Jobs

Our client is looking for a Treasury Analyst to support the Finance function in developing and implementing our Treasury and Corporate Finance strategies around financing, interest rates, foreign exchanges.

Responsibilities:

-Support the development of treasury and corporate finance strategies based on company requirements, stakeholders’ needs, and market environment

-Proactively analyze internal and external key trends, identify risks and opportunities

-Provide value-add variance analysis to drive performance and support the delivery against financial and non-financial targets

-Partner with finance and business leaders to identify and monitor KPI’s, gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards

-Support annual budget and strategic plan processes

-Developing forecasts around financing and foreign currency needs, based on historical and projected business performance, market dynamics, and other internal and external factors

-Builds relationships and maintain effective communications with internal and external stakeholders

-Prepare accruals and JE’s, and partner with other Finance and Accounting team members to ensure overall integrity of financial data

-Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems, support implementation of best practices, and drive continuous improvements

Qualifications

• Knowledge of foreign contract, foreign currencies
• Experience with refinance loans on national and global market
• Must have experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, and/or capital expenditure, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting and analysis.
• Professional designation or advanced degree (CPA, CFA, MBA, or similar) OR in progress
• Experience working with LIBOR and CDOR loans.
• Experience analyzing external factors such as changing interest rates.
• 3 to 5 years of experience working in a treasury planning and analysis capacity.At least 2 of those years in Canada.
