As the Transition Manager you will be working with a major healthcare facility in British Columbia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring timely completion and adherence to Preventive maintenance plans as outlined in operating manuals and manufacturer warranty documentation
  • Participate and build a comprehensive transition plan using MS Project or other tools of provided.
  • Maintain relevant site documentation, quality management
  • Participate in forward planning of site operations (resourcing, contractor scheduling etc.)
  • Identify minor repairs works to ensure continuity of operations
  • Utilize client project transition dependencies and blend with transition activities
  • Oversee maintenance services using CMMS platform.
  • Will be required to be on call to provide telephone assistance as well as emergency response to the facility
  • Assist Building Operations Manager to support O&M plans and facilitate asset & system training for existing and new plant staffing.
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Facilities Management and/or Building Maintenance including supervision of trades resources
  • Post-secondary education
  • Strong experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing system for building system.
  • Immunization (including COVID-19 vaccination) as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health Act
Additional Assets:
  • Understanding of compliance policies - general / TSSA / TSBC regulatory requirements
  • Excellent Customer skills / communication
  • Excellent documentation and email follow-up / communication
  • Report writing
  • Commissioning & Testing
  • Building Automation familiarity
  • Life Safety systems ie: Fire / sprinklers
  • CMMS training
