Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil & Gas clients to seek a Transactional Analyst II to join them on a 12-month contract in Calgary, AB.
This role will be responsible for processing invoices and purchase requisitions, managing the GR/IR blocked invoice report, and acting as a focal point for assisting teams with any SAP/GEP SMART invoicing and requisition requests.
Responsibilities
·Ensure timely and accurate review and processing of invoices for payment (authority, 3-way match, coding, PO, etc.).
·Confirm material receipt/services rendered for all invoices.
·Assist with the clearing of blocked items on the invoice report.
·Provide relevant support to the cost team to resolve issues and problems relating to transactional activities.
·Participate in stakeholder meetings.
·Interface with our suppliers and internal stakeholders, helping them navigate our portals and systems (GEP SMART).
·Initiate requisitions requests from stakeholders in SAP / GEP SMART.
·Create goods receipts and service entries in SAP / GEP SMART.
·Liaise with Supply Chain colleagues on maintaining OLA/Price books and PO issues.
·Review any purchase document errors and determine resolution in GEP.
·Identify the type of error and work with the supplier or the stakeholder to solve the issue.
·Utilize GEP to provide resolution assistance on any orders to reconcile what was received versus ordered.
·Ad-hoc GEP reports requested like price trends over time, spend analysis, and compliance reporting.
Qualifications
·Knowledge of SAP, GEP SMART, and Wellview.
·Proficient with MS Office.
·Understanding of financial accounting principles.
·Effective interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build & maintain effective, trusting relationships with internal stakeholders.
·Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures (purchase requisitions and invoicing).
·Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work as part of a team.
·Capable of effectively managing multiple priorities.
Work Schedule
·Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week.
·Hybrid model: able to work remotely on Wednesdays and Fridays.
