You will coordinate the materials handling activities at multiple sites in the Alberta region. You will be responsible for planning and tracking the receipt of equipment and materials as well as expediting and coordinating the delivery of materials.
Minimum Requirements:

• Five years of experience in supply chain, specifically in materials management and / or warehouse operations
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as a forklift or a loader
• Post-secondary degree in business or supply chain

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate regularly with home office supply chain management, construction management, and contractor material management personnel to ensure materials arrive at construction site on time
• Manage materials surplus sales and track cost avoidance / savings relating to disposal or re-deployment for the team
• Coordinate the unloading, receiving, control, and distribution of construction materials to various contractors in the assigned area
• Manage the process of integrating the materials receipt into the inventory management system
• Ensure the accurate and valid receipt of physically received materials during delivery
• Meet regularly with contractor’s materials management representatives to discuss and update future plans for materials and provide appropriate information to the project team

Location and other Key Details:

• Regular travel to Suncor operating locations and third-party locations will be required
• Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
• You will work out of our Edmonton Laydown facility, located in Strathcona County (53338 Range Road 231, Sherwood Park, AB T8A 4V2)
