Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated, creative and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for conducting learning needs analysis, sourcing and delivering learning programs, collaborating with vendors and internal clients, and implementing and evaluating learning initiatives. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for building, curating and maintaining our Learning Management System (LMS) and exploring cutting edge learning and development methodologies to support innovative learning solutions. This role requires strong change management skills and a passion for helping teams navigate transformation and technology change.


Key Responsibilities:

Conduct learning needs analysis and assess developmental requirements and opportunities

Source, develop and deliver on learning programs and initiatives using a blended approach

Collaborate closely with vendors and partner with internal clients at all levels of the organization

Implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate the delivery of learning and development initiatives and strategies

Build, curate and maintain LMS tools and resources

Research cutting edge learning and development methodologies and offer creative ideas to support innovative learning solutions

Apply change management principles and tools to ensure effective project implementation


Requirements:

Collaborative with relationship building skills and experience in providing advice to clients in the development and implementation of programs, initiatives, and analysis, research, design, development, facilitation, and program evaluation

Self-starter that sees opportunities and dives right in

Post-secondary education in Adult Education, Organizational Development, and/or Human Resources

Minimum 3-5 years experience in instructional design, development, and maintenance of corporate-wide learning solutions

Experience developing digital learning content such as micro-learning, demos, instructional videos, podcasts, interactive tutorials, etc.

Desire to explore new ideas, challenge the status quo, and continuously learn

Experience administering and working with a Learning Management System

Strong facilitation and presentation skills (in-person and virtually)

Experience with change management principles, methodologies and tools

Passionate about helping teams navigate transformation and technology change
