SterileCare is growing and we are expanding our sales organization across Canada! Headquartered in Markham, ON, SterileCare develops preventative and treatment-related solutions to fight against the threat of serious infections. We provide preventative and treatment-related solutions through research and collaborations with healthcare professionals that improves the quality of patient care.
About the Role
As a Territory Manager, you will build relationships with medical professionals and the healthcare community to promote SterileCare products, provide technical and clinical information to customers, ensure an exceptional customer experience, and develop sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets for your territory. We are looking for someone who has experience in vascular access, sales, relationship building, and who is passionate about improving the quality of patient care.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and present quarterly business plans with identified key account targets for each main product category.
- Achieve or exceed individual sales goals assigned by management using persuasive communication and effective selling skills.
- Maintain specific account knowledge within assigned territory such as: key decision makers in each department, department hierarchy, products used and how they are used, company products and competitor’s products, and hospital programs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all product, clinical, and procedural measures as they relate to the products being sold within a specific territory.
- Provide and share your selling tips, success stories, relationship-building measures, and suggestions that will contribute to the overall success of the sales organization with management, peers, and sales team members.
- Manage and cultivate assigned territory through sales activities such as territory analysis, prospect generation, growing and maintaining existing accounts, and trials/evaluations.
- Ensure a superior customer service orientation for each account.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirements.
- Provide consistent communication on new product ideas and potential improvements to sales and marketing management.
- Maintain business climate awareness and industry knowledge in order to implement successful sales strategies.
- Report all sales activities via weekly meetings and/or calls to management.
- Develop and maintain key physician, clinician, and hospital contacts to achieve corporate objectives while servicing customers to meet their needs.
- Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all relevant quality control requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times both externally with customers and internally with all staff and team members.
- Provide ongoing information to Sales Management and Marketing on all competitive activities and product introductions or evaluations through the respective geographic boundaries.
- Maintain current information as directed in the CRM system.
- Submit weekly expense reports when necessary and adhere to SterileCare's expense policies and procedures.
Your Work Environment
- Frequent travel within designated territory is required.
- This position is fully remote with occasional travel to SterileCare headquarters as required.
- Ability to regularly sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must maintain a valid drivers license.
What You Will Need
- Valid drivers license.
- Several years of work-related experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency speaking French considered an asset.
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in medical device sales.
- Bachelor Degree in the Nursing, Business, Marketing or related field of study.
