The Sales Planner - reports into the Vice President of Sales. They will ensure successful inventory management guaranteeing timely availability. The planner will follow up on the right product availability levels, identify main drivers, opportunities, and risks, create optimized responses, and validate them with the stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties. These duties directly and substantially serve to achieve the purpose of the position.
- National Risks & Opps review.
- Ensure Gross to Net Sales is recognized appropriately and understood by all key internal stakeholders (trade spend and other deductions).
- S&OP (Sales & Operations) owner for Canada.
- Forecast and plan volumes with the account, demand and supply teams.
- Ensure all internal planning activities are complete, accurate and on time.
- Collaborate across multiple teams: Sales, finance, Supply Chain & customer teams as required.
- Collaborate with sales analytics team to communicate pertinent competitive and market trends.
- Work with the Vice President to manage key brand stakeholders.
- Ensure all field activities and executions are organized and running effectively (ie merchandising support, field sales tracking).
- Ensure all submissions and detailed activities to support retailers are complete, accurate, and on time.
- Trade investment tracking & reporting.
- Ensure customer purchase orders match allocations.
- Monthly business forecast review.
