The ideal candidate will have skills in assembling, provisioning, installing, repairing, and maintaining IoT devices. Latium is a forward-thinking organization and has a unique and all-encompassing method of device fleet management. A well rounded and quick learning individual is desired.
What You'll Do:
Reporting directly to the Hardware Manager, you will:
- Develop equipment set ups, documentation, and continuous improvement strategies
- Attend project progress meetings with developers, engineers, and vendors
- Help build solutions using new & existing industrial IoT devices
- Investigate protype, production, and field issues
- Attend daily stand-up meetings to report on progress and blockers
- Collaborate with developers and engineers on implementation and design
- Assist with the development of test plans and refurbishment plans
- Collaborate with the team in building prototypes, testing, provisioning, and refurbishing devices

Required Skills:
- Excel, Word, and Microsoft Windows
- Ability to perform test cases, follow directions, and capture test results
- Email and collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Slack
- A strong desire to learn and take on new and challenging responsibilities
- Use of hand tools including voltmeter, screwdriver, and soldering iron
- Ability to troubleshoot with problem-space partitioning and logic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of git and Azure Dev Ops
- Linux / Bash Experience including SSH and command line tools
- Working knowledge of TLS certificates
- Proficiency in a scripting language like Python or JavaScript
- Working knowledge of LoRaWAN, WIFI, LTE cellular, and Bluetooth
- Networking basics with a web browser, HTTP, and REST APIs
Experience / Education:
1 - 3 years of work experience in product testing or provisioning in a team environment
