We are hiring production assembler for the largest manufacturing company in Southeast Calgary. The role starts with a competitive pay of $20-21 an hour.
Available afternoon shift ( 3:30 pm to 1:40 am), plus great potential for overtime hours
The right candidate must have experience in using hand and power tools, great manual dexterity, and comfortable to do physical work.
Advantages

Responsibilities

• Assembling mattresses and foundations
• Working with your team mates to ensure job is done in a timely manner
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Reading a production plan including tickets and labels
• Using a glue gun and fastening tools

Qualifications

• A positive attitude, ready to work in a team as well as independently
• Able to follow instructions
• Able to communicate well with colleagues
• At least 6-12 months experience in an industrial setting. It will be an asset if you have worked in a manufacturing plant, but other industrial settings such as a warehouse or construction setting will also be considered.
• Must be open to flexible shift - day and afternoon shift
• Able to stand and walk for an 8 hour shift
• Able to lift 50lbs
