Systems Service Specialist/Engineer (Triconex / Modicon)

What will you do?

The major role of the Site/Service Technician or Engineer is to deal with challenges on a daily basis.

• Challenge to work on different Schneider’s products.
• Challenge to keep your knowledge up-to-date.
• Challenge to work with many people.
• ... and for sure the challenge to keep the customer happy.
• Challenge to work and integrate different technologies.

The tasks associated with this role will be to:

• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and system failures.
• Determine most cost-effective repairs/resolution to minimize customer downtime.
• Work on networking including cyber security.
• Provide technical support on the software and hardware of the Triconex or/and Modicon PLC.
• Manage service agreements.
• Write reports.
• Work on the software and hardware installation.
• Provide recommendation based on the diagnostic or analyze.
• Prepare upgrade plans for the PLC or/and DCS systems
• Prepare FAT “Factory Acceptance Test” and / or SAT “Site Acceptance Test”.
• Perform on-site or in-house servicing on the Triconex or/and Modicon PLC systems.

What qualifications will make you successful?

Experience

• Preferably minimum of 2-3 years’ hands on experience with Triconex hardware & software packages.

And / OR

• Preferably minimum of 2-3 years’ hands on experience in supporting and commissioning Automatic Transfer Schemes (ATS), Switch gears, VFD etc. power system applications.
