Purpose of the job
To supervise all aspects of shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics and inventory control. Provide support and coordination pertaining to
material distribution and continuously promote & support safe practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage department & business results, and coach/develops team members.
  • Tactical role focused on execution & holding others accountable.
  • Communication & customer service, both inter-departmentally and externally.
  • Collaborative leadership and building relationships.
  • Problem-solving, facilitating solutions, driving value & making decisions. Role model Safety and Continuous Improvement.
Qualifications & Functional Knowledge
Education
  • Post-secondary
Relevant Experience Required
  • 5 years
Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role
  • Ideally Operational and/or Maintenance knowledge/experience
  • Maximo & SAP exposure would be a great asset
  • Supply Chain related Certificate would be asset
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) experience would be beneficial
