Supply Chain Associate

This, coupled with our unique suite of engineering collaboration tools, technical services and installation support allow us to deliver turnkey solutions that are modular, lighter, and quicker to install. We support our North American and Caribbean clients from our locations in Toronto, Calgary, and US.
We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Associate and based in Mississauga.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Report directly to Supply Chain Manager
· Perform tasks requested by supply chain management
· Assist with projects for all active product lines
· Assist with reviewing provided project BOMs and fabrication drawings
· Perform data entry into ERP system (MS Dynamics GP)
· Populate final BOMs onto customer sales orders
· Assist with reviewing inventory stock levels and projected stock depletions
· Assist with receiving quotes from vendors
· Assist with negotiating costs to stay within project budgets
· Issue vendor purchase orders
· Assist Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure quality requirements are achieved by suppliers
· Create shipping plans, packaging plans, and packaging drawings using Solidworks
· Coordinate with offshore supply chain team, project management, logistics team, and vendors to ensure all finished product is delivered on time
· Create shipping tracker, packing slips, and customs documents for active projects
· Track and report all final ship dates to project management and accounting team to invoice customers
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
· Self motivated team player with demonstrated problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
· Familiarity with volume production processes including forming, welding, stamping, machining, casting
· Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly both with the written and spoken word.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
· Ability to work under time constraints and handle multiple tasks with little or no supervision to produce a quality product in a timely fashion.
· Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment, working through issues and achieving resolution to challenging problems with little or no supervision.
· Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
· Demonstrated ability to be productive, positive and pro-active in a stressful work environment, by prioritizing work and adapting to changing work demands.
· English language fluency - verbal and written required.
