We are actively seeking a Supervisor – Operations for our Verreault shipyard. WHY GET ON BOARD? YOUR TYPICAL DAY Reporting to the Director – Operations, you will have to: Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees under your responsibility and ensure a smooth transition between work shifts; Ensure progress of work by respecting priorities and schedules established by the superintendents; Ensure optimal use of equipment and human resources; Mobilize and educate the team on the policies, procedures and regulations in force and ensure application of the collective agreement in force; Ensure effective management of absenteeism on his/her shift; Suggest and participate in the implementation of continuous improvements; Participate and support the activities of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System. OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE College degree in management, university degree in industrial or business relations or other relevant training; Professional experience in a similar role; Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; Leadership and interpersonal skills; Organizational skills and ability to prioritize; Autonomy and discretion; Good stress tolerance and ability to work on multiple files simultaneously; Bilingualism in French and English, oral and written (asset).
