If you're an organized individual with experience in a Supervisor, Network Operations and IT Security role, Robert Half has an exciting opportunity with our Edmonton Client that you may be interested in. As the successful candidate you will be accountable for overseeing daily operations of the Network Operations and IT Security team, on-premises & cloud infrastructure and services, security, and administration to support business needs. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of information security best practices, experience in a senior analyst level role in the delivery of technology solutions and strong ability in supervision, leadership, and development of staff. This role is based in Edmonton, AB., but is open to hybrid (work from home/work from office) remote work concessions for eligible candidates.

Requirements
MUST HAVES:

• Solid experience in supervision, leadership and development of staff and proven ability to lead and motivate a team and influence behaviour
• Strong working knowledge and experience of information security best practices
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft cloud services including Microsoft 365 and Azure
• Capability to manage multiple projects and assignments, prioritize projects, set, and meet deadlines
• Hands-on working experience of disaster recovery and business continuity technical concepts
• In-depth knowledge and working experience with Cisco networking technologies
• 3+ years working experience in a similar Network Operations & IT Security role with proficient knowledge and experience of Microsoft on-premises infrastructure including Active Directory, DNS, certificate services, Exchange, and IIS.
• Post-secondary Degree/Certificate in relevant field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
• Must be highly motivated with great attention to detail
