Network Specialist Jobs

We are looking for a network specialist to optimize our IT network. In this role you will be responsible for evaluating our network's performance, collaborating with our IT team to increase network capacity, and overseeing network security.

To ensure success in this role, you should possess in-depth knowledge and experience of network technologies and display network expertise that results in the stable, fast, and secure exchange of information.

What you’ll do:

• Knowledge of various NW management tools used in enterprise networks
• Working and Troubleshooting knowledge of SonicWall Firewalls
• Work closely with internal and external teams for problem resolution
• Configure and install network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, Meraki Devices
• Hands experience on - IOS up-gradation, password breaking of Router & Switches, knowledge Routing protocol like RIP, OSPF, BGP, ACL, licensing; Switching - VLAN, VTP, STP, inter VLAN routing, HSRP, ether channel and stacking should have understanding & knowledge
• Cloud Technology working knowledge of Azure & AWS
• Security Fundamentals: Should be able to understand / Explain concepts (NAT, ACL, Access Groups, IPsec, AAA) & have working knowledge and be able to troubleshoot network Protocols
• Monitor and communicate progress against milestones, taking proactive remedial action where necessary
• A hands-on Network Engineer to be a part of the network infrastructure/support team, ensuring network reliability through responsive troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Responsible for Level 2 support and escalations for network issues

• CCNP will have extra advantage
• Must have CCNA or equivalent certification
• At least 4-8 years of hands-on experience in network device configuration and troubleshooting
• Strong verbal and written technical communications skills at all levels
• Good understanding of ITIL process and hands-on incident, Change and Problem management
• Experience in configuring and maintaining Cisco Meraki switching and wireless technologies
• Masters’/Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years of experience
