Network Architect Jobs

Role:

• Participate in projects requiring Network architect / SME expertise

• Create and maintain High Level Design, Low Level Design, Technical Architecture and core designs / patterns

• Analyze current Infrastructure Landscape state, and make recommendations to reduce project risks, costs and timeline

• Lead Infrastructure Refresh strategy and roadmaps

• Communicate and articulate the architectural vision in terms that targeted recipient / action owners can comprehend

• Audit and assess current network infrastructures and make recommendations

• Work with IT teams and partners to establish technology targets for infrastructure, cloud, network and telecommunications systems

• Provide technical direction in detailed design to projects and programs

• Be responsible for the delivery of fully integrated technical solutions that meet project objectives, delivery timelines, and architectural direction

• Develop Technology roadmaps

• Develop Infrastructure and Cloud solution architecture and make sure all components are fully integrated

• Recommend improvements in Technologies, solutions, approaches and standards based on business objectives, enterprise/IT strategy, capacity, technological developments, market practices and established targets during the roadmap development process

• Document the architectural aspects of the technology layer and maintain the architecture framework

• Drive Proof of Concepts and new technology/innovation assessments leading to Pilot and eventual adoption

• Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams

• Product knowledge: Routing Protocols especially BGP, OSPF; Cisco Routers - 7200, 3800, 3600, 2800, 2900, 881; Switches - Nexus 7K/5K/2K, Cisco 6500/4500/3750/2960; Firewalls - Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Palo Alto; Cisco ACI/APIC; SD-WAN (SIlverpeak); Wireless LAN (Cisco, Aruba); Load balancing (F5, Netscalers)

Skills Required:

• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Bash

• ITIL Certification

• CCNP/CCIE, CCDP/CCDE Certification
