Registered Architect (Remote) - Western Canada

Location: Remote (Western Canada) or In-Office (Calgary, AB)

About Us: our client is a Full-service design, engineering, and architecture under one roof. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Architect to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an architect with a strong background in commercial architecture and project management to contribute to our innovative projects while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work arrangement. Types of projects that you will work on will ranges from Gas Stations, Quick Service restaurants, to Retail and commercial designs

Responsibilities:

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to enhance their professional growth.
• Utilize your extensive experience in commercial architectural work to lead design initiatives, ensuring projects meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Utilize your expertise in project management methodologies to effectively plan project timelines, monitor progress, and provide accurate monthly forecasts.
• Conduct thorough architectural reviews and provide necessary stamps to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of architectural and project management processes within the firm.
• Leverage your proficiency in technical design tools such as Revit and Project Management software to enhance project workflows and deliver high-quality results.
• Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to foster successful relationships and deliver projects that exceed expectations.
• Manage all aspects of project management, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and timely completion of milestones and deliverables.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven experience in commercial architectural work, showcasing a portfolio of successful projects.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to become registered in additional provinces as required by project demands.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Programs, technical design tools (e.g., Revit), and Project Management software.
• Flexibility to work remotely or in-office in Calgary, AB, with occasional travel to project sites as necessary.
• Demonstrated experience in cultivating positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Possesses excellent design skills and the ability to review and stamp architectural documents.
• PMI and/or PMP Designations are considered assets.
• Holds a Registered Architect (RA) Designation in Alberta, British Columbia, or Saskatchewan.
• A passion for architectural innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
• Proficient in various aspects of project management, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
