We are seeking a Sr Analyst to join our team in New Energy Technologies. As a member of the New Energy Technology (NET) group, you will support senior team members in research and analysis on key NET related topics, developments in new energy technologies and applications, economics of projects, related policies, and permitting processes.

What You Will Do

• Support the Director, NET, and assistance to senior NET team members in the origination, and evaluation of NET-led Clean Energy Projects and investments, including specific tasks related to research and monitoring of new energy technologies
• Contribute towards the development of New Energy Technology financial screening models and project opportunities based on clean hydrogen, carbon capture and sequestration and renewable natural gas technologies and the integration of renewable power.
• Support the NET group and Corporate Development group on due diligence processes of acquisition and investment opportunities.
• Conduct research on environmental policies, incentives, carbon pricing and markets.
• Assist with identification, analysis and screening of New Energy Technology Partnership and acquisition opportunities.

Who You Are

• Some travel would be required within North America.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities with the flexibility to accommodate different work styles.
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Preference given to candidates working towards a professional designation such as CFA, CMA, CA, etc.
• You possess a university degree from a nationally recognized program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
