Responsibilities and Duties:
As a Project Engineer with us, you'll play a pivotal role in supervising and coordinating all aspects of our cutting-edge construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising project facilities and site development to ensure top-notch construction.
- Cultivating strong technical relations with professionals and subcontractors, fostering seamless collaboration.
- Ensuring meticulous design follow-up with consulting engineers to guarantee project success.
- Managing suppliers, including turbine manufacturers, with a keen eye on specifications, execution procedures, and quality standards.
- Collaborating closely with our talented Project Manager to manage all work activities on-site.
- Analyzing worker productivity and preparing progress reports for effective management.
- Developing detailed work schedules and precise work cycles to optimize efficiency.
- Providing invaluable support for insurance claims, ensuring smooth project operations.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, we're seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Membership in a Canadian Professional Engineer Association, depending on provinces.
- Outstanding team management and conflict resolution abilities.
- Close attention to detail and administrative rigour.
- Excellent management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to high-stress environments and weather fluctuations typically found on construction sites.
- High geographical mobility and a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to exercise initiative, autonomy, and leadership.
- Experience in renewable energy projects as a valuable asset.
- A bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Construction Engineering.
