We're looking for talented, passionate leaders with a proven record of delighting customers and growing sales.


This role is responsible for supporting financial and operating initiatives driven by the Grocery Retail divisions. The successful candidate will contribute to reporting, business analysis, budgeting, forecasting and review of strategic initiatives.


Accountabilities:


  • Adopt an effective hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely).
  • Partner with Finance teams within Grocery Retail and other functional areas (such as BICC, Robotics Process Automation, Finance Transformation) to automate reporting and create process efficiencies.
  • Provide support for the annual planning and budgeting process.
  • Consolidate large amounts of complex information into simple and easy to understand reports.
  • Support the periodic financial close and forecasting process by providing insights on financial performance, guidance on expected gaps and plan/forecast variance analyses.
  • Ad hoc projects and analyses.
  • Support the testing and administration of the Enterprise Planning and Budgeting tool (Hyperion).
  • Perform financial analysis, including reporting, insights, and analytics, to monitor and evaluate the financial performance of our Retail businesses.


Role Requirements:


  • Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools such as MicroStrategy would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Power BI Query would be an asset.
  • Advanced skills in Excel/Access.
  • University degree in Business, Finance, ideal candidate will also possess professional designation such as CPA, MBA, CFA or in process.
  • Financial experience in a retail environment (within FP&A an asset).
