About the Role
We’re excited to be looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team here at IMAX. You’ll primarily be responsible for assisting in the financial reporting and accounting for IMAX, working with multiple stakeholders across the company. Our ideal candidate will be excited to learn about IMAX’s business and will have an opportunity to grow as a finance and accounting professional.
What You’ll Do

• Prepare deliverables to support internal reporting of KPIs to senior management
• Ensure that all relevant SOX controls are being complied with on a monthly/quarterly basis
• Prepare monthly calculations and reporting related to IMAX Theater Systems and customer contracts
• Review master data and the chart of accounts in SAP
• Review and enhance all process and controls documentation as necessary
• Research, analyze, and assess the impact of new U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and pronouncements
• Prepare supporting schedules for our periodic SEC and SEDAR filings as well as our statutory financial reporting

What You’ll Need

• Post-secondary degree in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of financial reporting/corporate accounting experience
• Experience in analysis of financial information/data
• CPA, CA, CMA, CGA designation
• Strong Excel skills
