ImagesInSound has been a part of the Canadian entertainment industry for over 30yrs, known for producing award winning sound design and picture post-production. Our work has been recognized internationally, producing several awards for sound design and stunning picture post production.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to grow our team as a Full Time Sound Editor in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sound design and telling stories through sound. They should also have experience working in post-production for theatrical, broadcast, and special venue formats.

As a Sound Editor at ImagesInSound, you will be responsible for dialogue, music, and SFX editing for a variety of projects, including International Co-Productions, Immersive Audio, and Episodic television.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and clean up of dialogue and music tracks.

SFX editing

Recording prep and edit

Collaborating with the members of the sound team to ensure the highest quality of work.

Maintain firm understandings of current software and hardware

Troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

Qualifications:

Passion for sound design and post-production.

Strong technical skills.

Basic understanding of working with Windows operating system.

Understanding editing software and plugins (Nuendo, waves, Izotope, ProTools and others)

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.
