Current Opening for experienced Commercial Service Technicians in Coquitlam, BC!
We currently have an opening for problem solvers looking for a fulltime role as a Commercial Service Technician. In this role you would work on commercial sites with a small team assisting with the installation of a variety of doors. We are looking for someone with at least 2-4 years of experience installing, repairing or maintaining commercial overhead doors and frames. Our technicians deal face to face with our customers on and off site and therefore must be able to interact in a positive and professional manner. Our technicians will also have periods where they need to get up to a higher range to offer services, so we are looking for someone that is okay with heights and can work in or outdoors. Location: Coquitlam, BC
Shift: Days- Monday to Friday
Time: Day Shift - Between 7:30AM-4:00PM (super flexible)
Salary: 80k-100k Salary
This is a transit accessible location
Company Vehicle Provided/ Class 5 license needed

Responsibilities

• Ability to log and track service calls and keep track of minor inventory needs and upcoming deadlines
• Treat company vehicle and equipment with safety and respect
• Troubleshoot, Repair, Install and Maintain Overhead Commercial Doors
• Travel to a new location daily or to multiple locations a day
• Ability to climb ladders, and assist in physical work such as lifting, climbing or carrying awkward shaped doors or equipment as needed.
• Follow our health and safety guidelines in house or on-site and report any issues that may arise professionally
• Work in rain or shine weather as some projects may be outdoors

Qualifications

• Understands Small Motors, and Gate operation and installations
• Can work in or outdoors in any weather, sometimes underground in garages
• Can read and follow floor plans and blueprints
• No physical limitations and must be okay with some heights
• Full License and Clean Drivers Abstract a MUST for company vehicle assignment
• Electrical and Mechanical aptitude
• Located in the Port Coquitlam, BC area
