Site Superintendent Jobs

The Superintendent is a master of his domain, they are the onsite heart of any project. They drive the site forward to achieve schedule, problem solve and provide solutions, ensure the site is executing the milestones to achieve schedule and budget and are calculated in their resources. The Superintendent is so much more than this.

A CPM Superintendent is supported by their Project Management Team to ensure their success. The Project Manager and the Superintendent work together whilst in different lanes to facilitate proper execution of the high level schedule and work tasks whilst holding the Contractor's accountable to their scope and contract terms.

The Superintendent must have superior working knowledge relative to their peers with respect to all facets of Construction:

• Elevator requirements
• Municipal standards, inspection requirements, construction assemblies
• Occupational health and safety / general best practices
• Concrete take-offs, pour checklists, concrete mixes, etc
• Electrical
• Carpentry
• Safe excavations, shoring and demolition practices
• Mechanical systems
• Finishes
• Thermal performance / Air Tightness
• High level thinking, forecasting, scheduling, communicating, planning, calculating, estimating, team atmosphere, strong character, high integrity, professionalism, team leader

CPM has the ability to compensate Superintendents with the most competitive wages in the industry and will assess each Superintendent's ability upon successful application and personal review with each candidate. CPM is seeking a permanent part of the team and to develop a Super into a General Super or Construction Manager capable of managing a team of Supers on multiple projects - but are willing to hire any great individuals who are willing to engage in their personal development who show excellent traits of responsibility, professionalism and who can master the sequencing and communication required to build a successful project from the ground up through occupancy.
