Junior Site Supervisor Jobs

The Junior Site Supervisor assists the Project Manager and Site Supervisor in the delivery of projects by overseeing and coordinating the on-site activities throughout site establishment, installation and inspection. He/She is responsible for knowing the work to be completed and for applying resources to accomplish that work, while assuring the goals of the program are implemented and successfully finalized.

Qualifications:

• Monitor job progress and costs.
• Interact with clients to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests to achieve a high level of client satisfaction.
• Have experience with load bearing steel stud, structural steel erection and welding
• Be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and MS Projects
• Read and understand blueprints, schematics and construction documents
• Be willing to travel
• Be willing to work on the tools when needed
• Work under pressure and within time constraints.
• Be accurate and detail oriented.
• Scheduling experience is required

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Organize time, material and labour
• Manage tools and material inventory
• Complete necessary daily and weekly reports
• Maintain an efficient, effective, clean and safe work site at all times.
• Lead a construction team composed of internal staff and external contractors.
• The ability to motivate subcontractors, suppliers and staff in order to achieve the highest level of quality and performance.
• Implement & uphold strict quality control practices with employees and contractors.
• Manage employees, construction, quality of work and schedule while following building code, meeting safety requirements, time deadlines, company budgets, specifications, standards, and policies.
• Be self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks, and prioritize to meet deadlines.
