Site Supervisor - Kelowna

SITE SUPERVISOR (Temp) - AIRPORT SECURITY (KELOWNA)

Mon to Friday 0800 - 1600 (8:00 AM - 4:00PM)

Temporary Supervisor position for a 3-month term with the possibility of being extended and move into a permanent full-time position (non-supervisory). Would you like to become an integral part of the safety and security team at an airport, help passengers and airport staff with navigating the airport, access control and other security needs.

Must Haves

• Must have 1-2 years' experience in a supervisor's role
• Ability to pass and retain security clearances, RAIC and AVOP. Airport security officers are subject to thorough background checks and security clearances, in addition to carrying a valid Security License.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Moderate Computer skills.
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
• Class 5 Driver's license and a clean drivers abstract
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Must have 1-2 years' experience in security
• Experience in scheduling
• Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be using a radio and writing reports.
• Moderate computer skills
• Valid Security License

• OFA(occupational First Aid) Level 1
• Bylaw Certificate
• Radio Experience
