SIMULATOR TECHNICIAN

Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified Simulator Technician to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: Hamilton, ON (On-site)

Responsibilities

• Perform logistics and inventory duties, including parts receipt, shipment, repair, and testing/validation.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Perform administrative tasks as required.
• Perform pre-flight and post flight on designated simulators.
• Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
• Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).
• Utilize maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to interpret system prints and schematics.
• Ability to work flexible shifts day and night, and to adapt to changing work schedules.
• Proficiency in operating test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc.).
• Related experience is an asset.
• 2-year technical degree or 4 years in an electronic, avionic, or technical related field.
• Open to junior candidates who is eager to learn.
