As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cabling Technician to join our team at our Hamilton branch.

As a Cabling Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Maintaining accurate documentation of all cabling activities, including cable layouts, labeling, and test results.
  • Testing and certifying cabling systems to ensure optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborating with project teams and clients to ensure successful project execution and timely completion.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving cabling issues, including identifying and rectifying faults or deficiencies.
  • Installing and terminating network cables, including copper and fiber optic cables, based on industry standards and specifications.
  • Conducting site surveys and assessments to determine cabling requirements and develop effective installation plans.


Qualifications:


  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for cabling installation and termination.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cabling Technician or similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proficient knowledge of structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cables.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience with testing and certification tools, such as cable testers and OTDRs.
