Job Description
Fountain Tire Fort McMurray Gregorie (242 Gregoire Dr) is searching for a friendly and knowledgeable individual to deliver exceptional customer service as a Service Writer!


As part of the front-line staff, the Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring that all customers are provided with top-notch customer service. Your duties will include


  • Providing service quotes and receiving customer authorization for work to be performed
  • Ensuring that all products are billed accurately to the customer
  • Sharing product knowledge and technical expertise with Fountain Tire customers to build existing and new business
  • Scheduling customer appointments for tire and mechanical service
  • Finalizing sales and completing customer follow up to determine their satisfaction level with the service received


What does it take to get on track?


  • Maintaining a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driver's abstract are conditions of employment
  • Availability to work Saturday's
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket or tire industry and a history of providing exceptional customer service and business support
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a team

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing and high-volume environment

Fountain Tire is looking for an Warehouse Operations Assistant to support the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse office and to assist management with the implementation of a new software at our Acheson Warehouse (9633 266 St, Acheson, AB).


Wage $25-$27 / hour + annual bonus


This is a Monday-Friday (800am – 430pm) position with normal business hours in a warehouse environment. The Warehouse Operations Assistant will be expected to


  • Ensuring all associates complete the appropriate training modules necessary for the job.
  • Customer facing front counter duties – checking customers in and out (starting work orders and finalizing) and answering questions.
  • Answering emails and phone calls.
  • Entering inventory into DAX & MS365
  • Coordinate the processing of outgoing products; preparing manifest in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines, arranging transportation of materials as required, ensuring tracking of outgoing product is accurate, and achieving customer commitments.
  • Process carrier, vendor and store discrepancy claims.
  • Learn, adapt & train staff on new software application - MS365.
  • Tracking shipments & Invoices.
  • Work with contracted freight companies to manage shipping discrepancies, and to ensure on time delivery of product to customers.
  • Assisting production by searching and identifying SKUs that do not scan.
  • Daily entering of the KPI Report.
  • Assist the software implementation team by testing the new software application – MS365.
  • Posting daily movement journals in DAX & MS365
  • Releasing picking lists to ship product accurately and on time based on commitments made to the customer.
  • Assist with transitioning from Microsoft DAX to MS365.
  • Manage and maintain general office filing system always ensuring easy access and availability.
  • Assist distribution centre Manager in day to day warehouse operations.
  • Entering employee hours and shift differentials for payroll as needed.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and quarterly inventory counts.
  • Coordinate Warehouse activities.

We are looking for a versatile candidate who has


  • DAX and/or MS365 experience would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Scan guns would be an asset.
  • A customer service approach with the ability to meet deadlines and provide solutions to time sensitive matters.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; this includes organization, time management and problem solving skills.
  • Previous experience gathering and analyzing information.
  • 2-3 years of previous work experience in a general office environment.
  • Able to travel to other DC locations in Canada to support / train (occasionally).
  • Business, Administration, or supply chain degree or diploma required.
  • Proficient use of various office based software including Microsoft Office.
  • 2-3 years previous work experience in a supervisor role in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
