Job Summary

We are seeking a Writer Editor to join the Traffic Safety Services Division (TSSD). The Writer Editor's primary role is to promote TSSD products and services by developing awareness ideas, creating copy for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. They create both written and verbal media for both private and public consumption.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems
• Monitor social media and TSSD website metrics
• Suggest new ways to promote TSSD offerings and to reach consumers.
• Conduct research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions in the field, and then contextualize the findings
• Utilize SEO methods to increase site traffic
• Assist the creative team with the design of promotional materials
• Write, review, edit, and update content for TSSD websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms
• Use social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote TSSD initiatives

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in public relations
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Proven ability working in diverse public relations teams is preferred
• Experience managing content management systems and digital publications is preferred.
• Have ten years of experience in journalism as a writer, communications, public relations, or media relations, gained from either a news, public relations agency, or in-house communications setting, ideally in the energy, oil and gas, or chemical sectors
• Willing to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
• Experience leveraging digital content management systems to deliver digital content to meet the needs of various audiences
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, digital content creation, or marketing from a recognized and approved program
