·Contractor must have at least 2 years experience with executive writing and editing for senior management;

·Writer must have knowledge and experience using Canadian style guide and Government of Canada communications guidelines;

·Specific direction and deadlines will be provided to the writer to help manage their time;

·The writer will work under the direct supervision of the Manager, CARS and the Senior Program Officer;

Required Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications

Work from home flexibility - Hybrid Model (2 office days per week - Tuesday and Thursday)

· An understanding of personal finance, particularly insurance

· Experience at a financial publication, institution, or rate comparison website is a plus.
