Service Coordinator

A Day In The Life


The Service Coordinator is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with customers and the customer service team, to effectively plan, coordinate, and schedule all regular planned maintenance contracts to support the reliability of our customers' commercial kitchen equipment.


Responsibilities


  • Creates regular reports for internal and external customers on a scheduled and ad hoc basis.
  • Act as the primary contact for conflict resolution, speaking with upset customers to reduce escalation and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinates planned maintenance (PM) schedules with customers and dispatchers working within existing service constraints.
  • Works with the National contracts team to support all service divisions.
  • Builds business development opportunities with customers, and acts as the primary contact for conflict resolution.
  • Builds strong relationships with existing and new customers by proactively engaging and following up to discuss the status, progress, and feedback of the planned maintenance service.
  • Reviews manufacturers' service manuals, owns customers' usage schedules and records of maintenance problems to define optimum frequency of planned maintenance.
  • Develops new planned maintenance programs and provides expertise for recommended services and equipment.


What You Bring


  • Demonstrated ability and proficiency in MS Office suite of applications
  • Must have experience with a current ERP system
  • High school graduation required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Minimum 50 wpm
  • Knowledge of industrial kitchen equipment is an asset
  • Ability to keep information confidential
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in customer service
