FedEx is actively seeking a Senior Retail Channel Management Specialist responsible for strategy development, alliance relationship building, contract management, revenue, package drop-off and hold-at-location growth, promotional campaign management, account administration and support, market intelligence, competitive monitoring and building ways to grow our shared lines of business with large retailers like Staples, Penguin Pick-up, Packaging Depot and other FedEx Authorized Ship Centres across Canada.
The position is located in Mississauga, ON and is currently on a Hybrid work model.
Job duties:
- Assists/provides input in developing recommendations and supporting the annual retail marketing planning process.
- Interprets quarterly campaign tracking program reports to ensure accurate and confident analysis of effectiveness of specific marketing programs including return on investment.
- Be the voice of the customer and be responsible for developing the digital channels, content.
- Able to use facts and data to support claims, trends and recommendations.
- Acts as the daily business lead for specific FedEx retail channel agents and/or automation platforms.
- Oversees ongoing analyses and documentation of business requirements, opportunities and problems as they relate to retail agents for future program enhancements and channel improvement.
- Negotiates business development opportunities, manage various stages of retail agent lifecycle and ensure an ongoing mutually beneficial FedEx/Retail Agent program delivery, contributing to positive revenue and volume growth, along with meeting customer experience goals.
- Ability to build business review presentations and deliver value to retailers through formal presentations.
- Work to align, strategize and gain buy-in, budget and execute growth initiatives and campaigns to win share of wallet and share of market.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to work under minimal supervision, develop and execute strategy for one or more marketing initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years in Channel Management and Retail experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Account Management and sales experience
- Ability to communicate complex messages clearly and effectively to a wide range of audiences ranging from frontline employees to senior level executives.
- Customer facing with the ability to present to internal and external C-Level stakeholders
- Analytical problem solver with a dash of healthy creativity
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing / Business Administration
