Retail Supervisor, Ctc Sens Store

Job Summary

The Sens Store, CTC Retail Supervisor is a hybrid front-line store and warehouse position. The primary objective is delivering exceptional customer service while successfully completing merchandise sale transactions at the Sens Store, Canadian Tire Centre. The second primary objective includes assisting the Warehouse Manager with stocking stores, receiving shipments, inventory preparation and organizing the warehouse to ensure functionality at high efficiency.

Reports to: Manager, Retail Operations

Main Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Replenish all store locations to maximize sales
• Ensure store standards are upheld
• Responsible for inventory control
• Responsible for daily till balancing
• Operate POS
• Operations of MyPOS back and front office
• Offer the highest level of customer service to internal and external clients
• Strong product knowledge
• Process work orders and transfers
• Be able to re-merchandise the store
• Receive shipments in a timely manner
• Ensure merchandise is neatly and properly organized on shelves at all times

Sens Store, CTC Retail Supervisor Job Duties

• Ensures availability of merchandise and maintains inventory levels
• Reports to the Sens Store, Canadian Tire Centre Store Manager
• Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results
• Keeps in contact with warehouse manager and informs them if any product is missing in the store
• Protects employees and customers by providing a safe, clean store environment

Health & Safety Responsibilities And Accountabilities

Responsible for ensuring that all areas covered by Occupational Health & Safety Act (“OHSA”) are adhered to, specifically:

• Reporting any contravention of the OHSA regulations or Senators Sports & Entertainment policies and procedures
• Working in compliance with the provisions of the OHSA regulations and internal policies and procedures
• Reporting any missing or defective equipment or protective device which could endanger himself or herself or another team member
• Using or wearing protective equipment, devices or clothing when required

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Able to work under pressure
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Previous retail and leadership experience
• Able to lift heavy objects of 50 pounds and above
• Able to work 30 hours per week and work flexible hours
• Team player
• Bilingualism would be an asset
