Senior Proposal Coordinator/Marketing Professional

Our client is looking for a Senior Proposal Coordinator to join their marketing team. The role requires experience in the architectural or construction industry, handling complex bids with multiple partners. The ideal candidate should have strong strategic thinking abilities, prioritize tasks, and lead a team to prepare competitive proposals. Responsibilities include leading proposal development, strategic planning, proposal writing and editing, team coordination, quality assurance, and improving the proposal process. This position plays a crucial role in securing new projects through compelling proposals. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads the technical and creative development, design and production of proposals, qualifications, brochures, and presentations.

• Writes effective proposal responses, project and personnel descriptions, social media posts, and award submittals.

• Works closely with a variety of groups including the Canadian marketing team, studio leaders, design teams, and other global professionals within the company.

• Excellent writing and editing skills.

• Creative and impactful graphic design skills.

• Aptitude for comprehending and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.

• Strategic thinker with ability to connect marketing activities to larger business goals.

• Previous experience within architecture/design, construction and commercial real estate industries is

desirable, but not required.

• Commitment to meet deadlines and achieve tangible results.

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently.

• Ability to work independently and proactively, yet values collaboration and works well as part of team.

• Willingness to receive and learn from constructive criticism.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Intermediate level in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint is a must as 95% of work commitments

involve the use of these two programs.

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are considered an asset.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, English literature, journalism, or related

field.

• 5-10 years of related professional experience.
