Senior Product Manager, Bet Platform

Its media app ‘theScore’ is one of the most popular in North America, delivering fans highly personalized live scores, news, stats, and betting information from their favorite teams, leagues, and players. theScore’s sports betting app ‘theScore Bet Sportsbook & Casino’ delivers an immersive and holistic mobile sports betting and iCasino experience. theScore Bet is currently live in the Company's home province of Ontario. theScore also creates and distributes innovative digital content through its web, social and esports platforms.
Role Description theScore is looking for a Senior Product Manager with demonstrated success to join the team. As an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial product leader, you will innovate and execute on product initiatives that will bring surprise and delight to our users while delivering business value to the company.
The Senior Product Manager will have a track record of owning and delivering experiences to customers that raise the bar from an innovation, usability, and design perspective. You will need to thrive and deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Typical Work Day:

• Establish product KPIs and goals, including short and long-term planning on how to achieve desired results.
• Other duties as required.
• Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements; communicate with stakeholders regularly and collaborate with them on priorities.
• Own the end-to-end success of projects from requirements definition through design, development, launch, and post-launch analysis to drive future iterations of the product.
• Potential to mentor and assume direct reporting responsibility of APM/PM(s).
• Lead a cross-functional team of designers, engineers and quality assurance analysts in the ideation, technical development and launch of comprehensive iCasino and/or sportsbook products.
• Develop and thoroughly present go-forward recommendations.
• Serve as subject matter expert for your products, capabilities and services, and aid in providing guidance to others in regard to this expertise.
• Exhibit sound product judgment, contribute to the product strategy, and lead implementation of that strategy as it aligns to organizational and business objectives.
• Drive the continued growth of the Product Team through mentorship, developing best practices and continuous improvements targets.

Requirements:

• Strong project management skills and the ability to present work to executive staff.
• Ability to execute against defined objectives both tactically and strategically.
• Must be a self-starter, a team player and driven. You have the ability to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to help your team win.
• A high bar for delivering quality — from your own contributions, to the people you work with, to the products you work on.
• A passion for sports, esports and/or igaming, or the desire to learn about them & understand what gets users excited
• Understand the high-level system architecture and data flow of the products you work on.
• 5+ years experience in product management.
• A bias toward action and the ability to push yourself and others toward clarity and delivery.
• Experience with multivariate testing and experimentation.
• Strong desire for continuous learning and growth of your skill set.
• Ability to create wireframes, product specifications and white papers.
• Outstanding communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex problems in a simple way across diverse cultures, work styles, and personalities.
• Previous start-up, social networking and/or consulting experience is considered an asset.
• Previous experience working in a scrum environment and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
• Highly analytical - exceptional data analysis skills.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
