Senior Manager, Business Product Management

Are you a proven leader with experience managing systems in an Agile process? The Assessments & Finance team is looking for a senior leader to provide strategic oversight of our Finance technology systems. You will lead the team in shaping the vision for technology that meets the future strategic business requirements of our internal and external users.

As The Senior Manager, Business Product Management You Will

• Lead the strategy development, planning and execution of Finance's technology and product vision to ensure current and future business needs
• Foster and develop relationships with business, technology & service vendors, Procurement and I&T stakeholders
• Champion and communicate the product vision with senior leaders, business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
• Manage the Product Owner team to deliver services to internal and external clients in partnership with the I&T Team

• Promote teamwork and collaboration across the division and with our I&T and development teams
• Provide clear and consistent messaging through meaningful presentations and other written communication
• Navigate and lead stakeholders through complex business and technology decisions to a satisfactory conclusion
• Use a product vision to provide guidance to technology teams in the development of business systems
• Deliver extraordinary customer service
• Engage stakeholders by building solid relationships through continuous and effective communication
• Apply strong strategic thinking to effectively align projects with broader organizational goals
• Demonstrate outstanding project management skills
• Manage a large, complex portfolio of projects using Agile methodology
• Demonstrate a depth of knowledge in identifying risks, mitigations and knowing when to escalate issues for resolution
• Advocate for an effective business implementation, communication and change management focus to complement a strength in project management

Your experience and educational background:

• Experienced in managing a team including coaching and mentoring staff
• A minimum of three years of experience in product development in an Agile environment
• Preferred qualifications include Project Management Professional, Certified Product Manager, Pragmatic Marketing Certification, Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner/Manager
• A minimum of ten years of experience in business analysis, system support or development related IT experience
• A bachelor degree in Information Technology or Business Management
