Senior Maintenance Manager Jobs

The Maintenance Manager is an important member of the Facility Management team, and you are the Head of Maintenance. You will have 20 people who will report to you. You will oversee all elements of the department including supervisors, custodians, and technicians. You will be responsible for the efficiency of operations and equipment.

In addition to these tasks, you must be able to, after being informed with knowledge from the other Management, forecast, and plan required maintenance tasks and plant requirements to support production demands.Provide input on quotations regarding machine reliability for Engineering.

Giving direction to your team, you will be leading and overseeing the maintenance repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.

You will develop your own schedules and follow SOP for safety inspections, as well as preventative maintenance programs that will be followed and adhered to, you will be responsible for ensuring this occurs.

Financially, you will be responsible for executing contracts for the provision of supplies and vendor services.

You will be responsible for planning and adhering to your approved budget.

On the people side you will ensure a safe and positive work environment for your staff. Maintain open lines of communication, developing employees to the next level. Encouraging a positive workspace where everyone is comfortable communicating with each other as well as their leaders. Ensure that employee annual reviews are being conducted consistently by those responsible for doing so, and develop systems and programs to promote employee participation and involvement. Make your team feel like one, by leading with enthusiasm and tenacity.

Minimum Requirements:

Completion of a university degree or college program in electrical or mechanical engineering or in a related field.

• Eight to Ten years of progressive Maintenance experience
