Senior/ Lead Mobile Engineer (Flutter)

Our client is a Toronto based mobile and web marketplace built to help connect job seekers with job roles across North America.

They recently won a startup competition, secured a Government grant and are currently working towards their Series A round of funding.

As of today, they are looking to hire a Senior/Lead Mobile Engineer with excellent hands on experience working with Flutter to join their fun, friendly and motivated team.

You will be responsible for the following on a day to day basis:

• Assisting development team
• Monitoring performance the development team and suggest improvements
• Collaborating with engineering, product and design leaders
• Enhancing and improving existing code
• Develop new features for the front-end and backend
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of mobile apps, through coding best practices and testing
• Design, development and Implementation of new features
• Oversee delegation and communication of bugs and their fixes within the mobile application
• Lead SCRUM meetings, ensuring the team is performing at its highest level of efficiency
• Performing code reviews for junior developers and other Senior Developers
• Working closely with the Head of Development in making architectural decisions

It is expected successful engineer also has skills and experience with the following technology:

• Designing and maintaining of NoSQL databases
• Firebase
• Flutter
• React, Redux
• Experience working with CI/CD platforms
• GCP
