Lead Electrical Engineer Jobs

Position Overview:

Torus Talent's client is a fast growing consultancy company that is actively looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join their team. This person will work in a multi-discipline team to lead the design electrical systems for hydro power plants, substations, utility stations and industrial complexes and participate in business development. This person will report to the office in Toronto.

Further Responsibilities Include the Following:

• Review RFP's and develop scope of work packages.
• Conducting site investigations and inspections and coordinate design with your team.
• Ensure deliverables are being met on time and on budget.
• Lead the electrical design for industrial and heavy industrial projects.
• Designing electrical power systems for various industrial applications
• Establish relationships with clients in Ontario.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
• 7 years experience in protection and control, power systems, AC and DC design for LV and MV systems.
• Ability to perform power system studies using computer modeling software is an asset.
• University Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in preparing design drawings, reports, cost estimates and (CWP) construction work packages.
• Experience writing proposals or managing client relationships (an asset)
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in Ontario.
• Hydro power generation project experience (non essential).
