Job Description

Position: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Tenure: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Position Overview:

Our client, one of the leading organizations in the SaaS industry, is rapidly growing. Their management is in search of a sharp Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who will be responsible for the development of applications using JavaScript, PHP/Python, PostgreSQL, Angular, HTML, and CSS.


What will you be doing?

  • Experience implementing JavaScript
  • Ability to manage priorities to ensure projects meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
  • Experience working within a Dev Ops team
  • Ability to be the point of contact for client issues and able to find solutions in a timely manner
  • Ability to write quality code that is rooted in clean coding principles (SOLID, DRY) that also enables components to be reused
  • Experience writing unit tests and has a strong understanding of GIT workflows, web services, 3rd party API integrations & payment gateways
  • Able to work weekends and on-call when needed
  • Work alongside other developers and testers to build high-quality web products and also provide suggestions by performing code reviews
  • Ability to work with agile/scrum development methodologies in order to build scalable web applications
  • Coordinate with project managers to gain a deeper understanding of project scope and timelines to ensure projects are completed by the deadline
  • Provide mentorship to other team members


Must Haves:

  • Strong critical thing and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various situations
  • 10+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience implementing PHP/Python
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Linux, Azure, Powershell scripting, Windows scripting, AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Post secondary education in Engineering, Computer Science, or any other technical field
