Senior Frontend Software Engineer - CoreApps

Meltwater offers comprehensive media monitoring and analysis across online news, social media, print, broadcast, and podcasts, capturing more content and conversations than anyone else in the industry. We are seeking an experienced frontend software engineer to work on our Media Intelligence web applications to build responsive frontend interfaces.

In this role, you will be working to meet the functional and scalability requirements of our products. We offer total ownership of your team's products and your day-to-day will be jam-packed with opportunities to learn new technologies and grow as an engineer.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Interface with the UX/UI and application teams
• Write code that your peers praise for its elegance and readability
• Design and implementation of web applications interfaces
• Be accountable for all aspects of your work, from research and analysis to testing and deployment in production as well as on-call rotation

Required skills and experience:

• Experience with building and running applications in production
• At least 7 years’ experience in a front end software engineering role
• Solid understanding of the React library
• Understanding of web performance and optimization techniques and proper end-to-end testing of web applications
• Experience integrating FE services with GraphQL and REST
• Strong working knowledge of Javascript and Typescript as well as skill set in developing with the latest web standards, including HTML5 and CSS

Preferred skills and experience:

• Experience with web components, AWS managed services, Serverless Framework
• Experience with Agile software development and working within defined project management methodologies and timelines
• Experience with web accessibility
• Interest and/or experience with web design and user experience
